Integrated Foundational Autism and Mental Health Training
CMHO (Children’s Mental Health Ontario), in partnership with Autism Ontario and Dr. Jonathan Weiss, has developed a training program to build both sectors’ capacity in delivering integrated mental health services for autistic children and youth. These virtual sessions are designed to help enhance your expertise in treating and supporting autistic children and youth with mental health challenges and their families.
The program will consist of foundational training, advanced training, and the launch of regional communities of practice supported by Dr. Weiss to continue shared learning and best practices. Booster sessions will be provided based on the needs of providers identified from the training evaluations and communities of practice.
