Cognitive Orientation to Daily Occupational Performance Approach

A two-day certification workshop, delivered in a hybrid model is coming to Vancouver, Canada July 4-5th, 2022. You have a wonderful opportunity to be trained and certified in CO-OP (Cognitive Orientation Occupational Performance) Approach! You will be trained by one of the creators of the approach (Dr. Helene Polatajko), which will be a valuable learning experience. CO-OP is not only for children with DCD, but there is also evidence that this approach is effective for children with cerebral palsy, autism, and brain injury, as well as in adults with stroke and brain injury.
CO-OP enables children and adults with performance difficulties, be they physical, cognitive, or other, to succeed in performing the everyday tasks and activities that are important to them. It was developed to provide therapists with an evidence-based approach to enabling performance success in an effective and efficient way. There is also a one-day introductory course on the CO-OP approach on July 10th, which provides an overview of the approach and how it can be implemented into practice.
