The Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) provides limited, temporary coverage of health-care benefits for specific groups of people in Canada who don’t have provincial, territorial, or private health-care coverage. Refugees, protected persons, victims of domestic violence, victims of human trafficking, or detainees may be eligible.
