Member-Driven Advocacy: Occupational Therapists Now Included in ODSP and Ontario Works Forms
As of November 10, 2025, the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) has officially rolled out provincially the updated ODSP Mandatory Special Necessities (MSN) form and Ontario Works Limits to Participation form. These redesigned forms enable occupational therapists and other regulated professionals to complete and sign, enhancing client access to care.
This milestone reflects years of member-driven advocacy. Your feedback and experiences helped shape meaningful dialogue with MCCSS, leading to greater recognition of occupational therapy in social assistance programs.
