New Resource! Sleep Hygiene and Occupational Therapy: A Compendium
Sleep is an essential part of one’s daily routine - it contributes to your overall well-being, and accounts for almost a quarter of the human lifespan. There has been uncertainty as to whether sleep should be considered an occupation.
A new sleep resource developed by OSOT members, Angelica Despot, student occupational therapist, McMaster University; Alexandra Hannam, student occupational therapist, McMaster University; and Victoria Sarunsky, OT Reg. (Ont.), assistant clinical professor (adjunct), McMaster University, is now available to download.
This resource offers an accessible, evidence-based, feasible guide on the current assessments and interventions on sleep and sleep hygiene that occupational therapists are well-suited to employ.
