Upgrades to OSOT’s Membership System and Website
What members need to know about the transition to our new membership database and website.
Overview
We are excited to share that OSOT will launch a new membership database system and website this July! This update will bring a more tailored and intuitive member portal with improved service quality.
As part of this next chapter, we have rebranded and are returning to our roots as the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapy .
Action required: Download your receipts and certificates by June 30, 2026
Receipts and certificates (insurance, events, and archived webinars) currently stored in your member account will not be accessible after the new system launch. Members who wish to keep copies of these files must download them before the deadline.
For step-by-step guidance, please review our instructions on how to download your receipts and certificates.
Affiliate members are not required to take any action as part of this transition, and there are no changes to existing processes or points of contact.
Transition timeline
Now to June 30
OSOT members who wish to keep copies of their receipts and certificates must download them by June 30.
After June 30
The OSOT website and membership portal will be temporarily offline in preparation of the new system launch. During this time, most member services and benefits will continue to be available.
Week of July 6
The new system and website is expected to launch.
What to expect after the transition
Once the new system is live, OSOT will email all members with instructions on how to access the new portal and set a new password.
Your membership record, including your status, category, and renewal dates, will carry over automatically. You will not need to reapply or re-register.
Frequently asked questions
