News Release | Ontario Investing $3.7 Million to Expand Skin and Wound Care Training in Long-Term Care Homes 

Ontario is investing $3.74 million to train 1,100 long-term care staff in advanced skin and wound care, improving residents’ access to timely treatment and reducing avoidable hospital visits. The funding includes the Accredited Wound Care Champion program, which includes occupational therapists.
