Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate client needs, abilities, and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions in virtual, clinic, and community settings.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate clients and their families on adaptive strategies, tools, and techniques to improve daily functioning.
- Document progress, maintain accurate client records, and comply with regulatory standards.
- Stay current with evidence-based practices and advancements in the field of occupational therapy.
Position Requirements:
- Passion for working with clients facing functional impairments and disabilities
- Provide assessments and treatment both virtually and in the community (note: services are primarily in-person, not virtual-only)
- Strong aptitude for report writing and attention to detail
- Master's Degree (or recognized equivalent) in Occupational Therapy
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Active liability insurance with a recognized body
- Valid G-Class Driver’s License
