Wellington Kids is looking for an independent Occupational Therapist who enjoys working with kids and their families. We are a private practice located in Kemptville, Ontario, a rural community about half an hour south of Ottawa. Kemptville is a young, growing community and there is room for growth in this position! We currently work with toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children, and see them in our clinic, in their schools, and sometimes in their homes.

Job Description:

• Complete client assessments using both standardized and non-standardized assessment tools in clinic, school, or home settings
• Scoring of client assessment materials
• Establishes, plans and implements client goals including recommendations 
• Ongoing intervention with clients and their families
• Continually evaluate the client’s intervention plan/goals and adjust the intervention program to meet the client’s needs
• Consult and work with other disciplines and community agencies to foster an interdisciplinary approach to intervention
• Willingness to engage in continuing education at the discretion of the therapist
