We are seeking Occupational Therapists in all speciality areas to serve the greater Ottawa area. If you have a positive and professional personality we'd love to have you join our growing in-home service team. Working with Ottawa OT, you will conduct direct client care. Our approach provides our clients with one-on-one private sessions in the comfort of familiar surroundings at their residence, or school.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate treatment of patients with emotional, physical or mental disabilities
• Monitor and assess patient programs
• Coordinate and conduct assessments and provide feedback
• Develop treatment plans for clients
• Organize and update patient records
• Schedule your own sessions with clients at mutually convenient times
• Provide invoices on bi-weekly basis to Ottawa OT management
• Respond to leads provided by management in a timely manner- same business day
• Must provide your own equipment to carry out treatment plans

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in occupational therapy or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Passion to help and motivate others
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor or masters degree in Occupational Therapy
• Good standing with COTO

Requirements:

• Must be willing to meet clients at their schools, homes, or daycare
• Must have access to a vehicle
