About the Opportunity Headhunting Inc is on the lookout for passionate Travel Occupational Therapists to join an exceptional interdisciplinary team delivering innovative community-based care across beautiful Prince Edward Island. You'll be working directly in clients’ homes, helping individuals regain independence, improve quality of life, and feel empowered in their own space.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a key member of our integrated care team, you’ll:
Perform in-home assessments focusing on cognitive, physical, and psychosocial function
Develop customized care plans in collaboration with a dedicated team of nurses, doctors, PTs, SLPs, and social workers
Recommend and adjust assistive devices to promote safety and autonomy
Educate families and caregivers on safe mobility, personal care techniques, and home modifications
Keep thorough clinical documentation including assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries
Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and strategy sessions to ensure the best outcomes for each client
What You Bring to the Table
A degree in Occupational Therapy
Active registration and good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
3–5 years of experience (preferred), especially in community or home care settings
Confidence in functional assessments, goal-driven planning, and clinical reasoning
Working knowledge of adaptive equipment and home modification strategies
Clear and compassionate communication skills
Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
