Description of Opportunity

Prairie Mountain Health is hiring Occupational Therapists in many locations throughout the region. We have full-time, part-time, and casual positions available.

The Occupational Therapist (OT) works with adults in acute care, long term care, home care and with outpatients. Caseloads vary, but you may follow a client throughout their course of care. OT’s also work in pediatrics, with caseloads typically with preschool aged and school aged children. Services are offered in home, in facility, in daycares or schools. There are approximately 35 OT’s who are part of the compliment to the Therapy Services Department that employs approximately 35 Physiotherapists, 18 Speech Language Pathologists, and 4 Audiologists. The organization welcomes new graduates, newer to practice and experienced practitioners to the organization.


Rate of Pay: $38.93-$46.02 per hour

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited or approved university Occupational Therapy program
  • Eligible for and maintains licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the province of Manitoba
  • Eligible for and maintains membership with the Canadian Occupational Therapy Association
  • Current Basic Life Saving (BLS) Certification within the past twelve (12) months as per Prairie Mountain Health Policy CPR Training
  • Province of Manitoba Class 5 Drivers License, and access to a personal vehicle to provide service within Prairie Mountain Health
