March of Dimes' Online Employment Services Services Overview

Date and Time: October 2, 2024 | 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Webinar Description:

March of Dimes Canada has operated within the employment services sector in Ontario for more than 40 years and nationally for the past 10, providing both vocational rehabilitation and supported employment. They have assisted thousands of persons with disabilities in preparing for, obtaining, and maintaining employment. They also help employers across Canada find the best candidates and assist thousands of individuals each year in obtaining employment.

March of Dimes has recently launched several initiatives to assist persons with disabilities to access employment, skills training, to engage in community, and to develop skills to use accessible technology.

This webinar will highlight programs designed to support your clients to live their most independent lives during and post-recovery from an injury or illness. You will also learn how to contact March of Dimes staff to learn how to access available services for your clients. In many cases, services are available virtually, so regardless of disability or location, clients are able to receive services that have traditionally required in-person access.

By the end of this webinar you will:

  • Learn about available March of Dimes employment services for clients.
  • Explore how services are delivered and the best method to connect your client to these services.
