Navigational Conversations September/October 2023 Workshop

Navigating conversations is an essential skill for clinicians, professionals, managers, and leaders. Whether conversations are to move people towards independent problem-solving, to ensure people feel heard and understood, or to provide positive and corrective feedback, every one has the potential to build trust and improve the skills and abilities of the person you are speaking with. This course is 16 hours of interactive, engaging, fun, and practical learning. Who Should Attend: organizational leaders, managers and directors, clinicians and professionals, owners in service industries, those interested in enhancing their capacity to develop others through effective coaching conversations.
Over Four, 4-Hour sessions we will cover: The differences between coaching and problem-solving. The principles of effective coaching interactions. When and where to apply the coach approach. How to successfully deliver a 5-step coaching model. Fundamental coaching skills of: conscious listening, the art of the question, productive ways to tell, how to successfully provide positive, corrective, and developmental feedback.
