Led by Vera Cheng, RP, this workshop will help mental health professionals work with clients who have experienced anti-Asian racism.
Anti-Asian racism has been on the rise since the COVID-19 pandemic and has significantly impacted the mental health of the Asian community.  The workshop will explore the origins of anti-Asian racism in North America. 
Participants will also: Understand and unpack the impact of racism on the Asian community from the victims' perspective. Apply an intersectionality framework and reflect on how their biases can impact clients. Develop strategies on how to become an ally for the Asian community.
