Stress vs trauma and understanding the mental health continuum. Arousal as a foundation for behaviour, learning, and function. The effect of trauma on functioning (body, mind, emotions, behaviours, relationships). Strategies for self-regulation. The role of communication and strategies for supporting regulation. Environmental considerations. How to prepare employees to respond before trauma, during trauma, and after trauma.
