OSOT Provides Feedback on Regulatory Changes for Leveraging the Role of Resident Support Personnel in Long-Term Care Homes 

Last week, OSOT submitted feedback to the Ministry of Long-Term Care (MOLTC)  regarding a regulatory change to the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021 . These changes would permanently permit informally trained individuals to provide personal support services for residents, which can introduce risk to residents.
