QUALIFICATIONS
Current Registration (member in good standing) with the College of Occupational Therspists of Ontario
Previous experience of treating clients with physical, mental health, and/or neurological disorders, autoinsurance, long term disability and WSIB referrals is an asset, not required.
Ability to be automonous, working both independently and as a part of the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Implementing individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning.
Educationg clients on hurt v/s harm, pacing strategies, Cognitive Beahvioural strategies and task modification to help improve function.
Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of professionals incuding Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Kinesiologists, Psychotherapists and Psychologists.
Supporting return to work programs
Managing a caseload in a fast paced environment.
