Simcoe Habilitation Services, Inc.

We are a provincially funded Transfer Payment Agency within the Ministry of Community and Social Services (MCSS) ecosystem. We are looking for a fulltime or parttime Occupational Therapist to work with the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services assisting people with Developmental and Physical Exceptionalities. The successful applicant will work as part of an extended team of support professionals within the Ministry to provide a full range of Occupational Therapy supports. Paid vacation (4 weeks), flexible hours, work-from-home, electronic reporting system, paid mileage and more.

Remuneration commensurate with experience, plus paid vacation, paid travel mileage and paid travel time.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current member and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle
• ADP qualification considered an assets
• Superior interpersonal relations, communication, problem solving, time management skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to collaborate as a member of a multidisciplinary team

The successful applicant will become a member of an innovative team within the Ministry providing OT services to individuals with intellectual and /or developmental delay, their families and caretakers within the community of Simcoe County.
