PT/FT OPPORTUNITY FOR COMMUNITY OT

Looking for full and part time OTs interested to work in the community with clients who have experienced workplace trauma. This is a flexible opportunity where you can expand your clinical skills, business acumen and income. Workload includes performing assessments and treatment interventions for WSIB clients in the Mental Health Program.

I V League of Occupational Therapists (IVOT) has been an industry leader since 1990 (originally known as Toronto Occupational Therapy Associates). The company has a 34 year history of providing exemplary OT services to the auto insurance sector, law firms WSIB and self-referred individuals.

Clients are seen throughout Ontario so applicants do not have to be Toronto-based. A significant portion of the clients are located in the Regions of Durham, Halton/Hamilton, Niagara, Peel, Waterloo, York, and Toronto. You are paid mileage, travel time, direct client time and report preparation time. 

On the job training is provided for the duration of your first year with IVOT.  Mentorship is provided on a regular basis with peer review of each case. You will have the opportunity to provide community-based OT intervention in-person and virtually.

As an Occupational Therapist you have:

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle
• Confidence to interface with a variety of stakeholders in a professional manner to proudly representing the OT profession
• Experience working with WSIB or in the field of mental health is preferred but not necessary; new grads are also welcome to apply
