OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST – TEMPORARY FULL-TIME (up to 18 months)

Reporting to the Integrated Director of Allied Health Services, the Occupational Therapist (Temporary Full-time) will have a broad range of skills and experience, to provide O.T. services to in-patients, out-patients and long term care residents.  The Occupational Therapist will work as part of the Multidisciplinary Care Teams on Complex Continuing Care, Day Hospital and at Fairview Manor Long Term Care Home.  The Occupational Therapist will provide a broad range of services, including mobility device prescription, cognitive assessment and treatment, functional ADL/IADL evaluation and training, with a focus on patient/ family education and empowerment.  Experience in Geriatrics would be an asset.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Must be registered as an Assistive Devices Program Authorizer
• Experience in Geriatrics would be preferred.
