This webinar will help OTs working in, or having an interest in maternal health, better understand the OT role of supporting their clients and other professionals through a sensory birth. Participants will take away an evidence-based understanding of how OTs can help redefine the whys of creating a sensory based birthing experience.
By the end of this webinar you will: Identify the OT role in the sensory birth process. Apply sensory concepts to the birthing experience. Develop strategies for creating and executing a sensory birth plan. Integrate strategies for the involvement of other birth professionals in a sensory birth. Create a sensory postpartum recovery plan in continuity of the sensory birth plan.
