OSOT Met with the Ministry of Children, Community, and Social Services
Last week, OSOT met with representatives from the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) to discuss highlights from the pilot program testing of two forms, the revised Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) Mandatory Special Necessities (MSN) form, and the Ontario Works Limits to Participation Form. The updated forms accommodate a wider range of health professionals authorized to sign. The pilot project ran from May to October 2024 and included occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and physician assistants in Kingston and Sault Ste. Marie.
This pilot project and progress was made as a direct result of OSOT’s ongoing advocacy efforts. OSOT will continue to provide updates as they are received from the MCCSS.
